Building an AI-Ready Workforce

Adoption fails at the people layer far more often than the technology layer. A workforce becomes AI-ready through three shifts.
1. From task execution to task oversight
Employees move from doing the repetitive work to reviewing and directing the agent that does it. This is a promotion in judgement, not a demotion in scope.
2. From outputs to outcomes
When agents handle the draft, humans must own the standard. Performance frameworks should reward outcomes and quality of judgement, not volume of output.
3. From fear to fluency
Provide structured, role-specific enablement. Anxiety about replacement is the single biggest adoption tax; transparency about intent reduces it.
The Adoption Triangle
Tooling is the easy part procured in a quarter. Talent and trust take years: re-skill the people who will work alongside agents, and earn the confidence to let them. Skip any of these and the adoption collapses.
